Second to none
From motivation to inspiration and all of the buzz words in between, little old perseverance often gets forgotten about.
However, the truth is that motivation and inspiration might get us started and get our business off the ground, but it’s perseverance that gets us across the finish line.
Don’t stop! Just keep those two words front and center in your mind at all times. No matter what’s gone wrong, going wrong, about to go wrong, we march on.
The world we live in is impatient, ignorant, and unrealistic. The best things in life take time to evolve, grow, and flourish—your business is no different.
You’re already in the one percent because you had the guts, guile, and courage to go it alone. Remember this when you’re struggling because you’ve already done something most people never will… You started!
Your business, just like your life, isn’t a race. Be patient, be persistent, and broaden your perspective at every opportunity, and the construction universe will move out of your way.
Accept It Upfront.
Business = Problems.
Being a business owner isn’t just about knowing your trade, skill, or service. It’s about working under pressure and remaining calm under fire.
Business owners who complain about this arrangement, don’t accept it or resist it will not survive. It’s not fair, but it’s reality. You win when you accept this and combine it with pure determination and perseverance!
The difference between business owners and employees is that employees cannot accept this universal truth. Instead, they remain trapped in the what’s fair and what isn’t abyss.
Program vs. Podcast?
The Construction MPa Program is an entirely different beast than the Construction MPa Podcast. However, it was ultimately built with the same end goal in mind, too:
A) Help small business owners strengthen their businesses themselves via a step-by-step process.
B) To provide a home for small business owners to openly discuss the challenges they face in a sales and bullshit-free environment.
